Transport connections to Schweich railway station

In order to redesign the street "Am Bahnhof" in the city of Schweich in line with demand and to upgrade the urban development, an expansion was planned and implemented in two separate construction phases on the basis of a feasibility study.
The central components of the first phase were the construction of a bus turnaround and the creation of Park&Ride and Bike&Ride spaces in connection with the redesign of the service road.
In the second phase, the focus is on the direct connection to the public transport system by means of a central bus stop with a special focus on barrier-free access to the platforms.
