Leipzig University - University Hospital - Centre for Oral and Orthodontic Medicine Prosthetics and Material Science
At the Centre for Oral and Orthodontic Medicine (ZMK) of Leipzig University Hospital the ground floor and basement of the rear building for prosthetics and material science were reconstructed and rehabilitated.
The planning for this was carried out in the following areas:
- Structural engineering,
- high-voltage and low-voltage power installations,
- heating,
- ventilation,
- sanitation,
- town gas and
- compressed air
In these separate areas, work focused on the
following:
Structural engineering
- New ceilings (suspended ceilings), partition walls, doors, windows, dry-construction, tiling, flooring, painting and wallpapering work.
High-voltage and low-voltage power installations
- single storey main distribution for general and emergency power supply feeder cable from the relevant main distributor of the building for the general and emergency power supply
- lighting system with heavy-duty lamps for - in part - very high luminous intensities
- extensive socket installations according to
- installation plans
Heating, ventilation, sanitation
- new radiators including pipework, heating supply pipes, heating distributor
- decentralised air-conditioning systems
- new water and sewage system including ground pipe
Town gas and compressed air
- new connections including pipe system and safety
