G-Steel Extension of Water Treatment Plant

G-Steel Public Company intended to expand their steel producing plant at Rayong, Thailand.

The new facilities to be installed at the existing plant are as follows:

• Reversing Roughing Mill
• Walking Beam Furnace
• Tunnel Furnace

To supply those processes with sufficient cooling water a water treatment plant is required.

The water treatment plant can be split into the following parts:

• Raw Water Intake – Filtration Required Only for Periods of Heavy Sedimentation 
• Indirect Cooling Water supply – Open Loop and Closed Loop ICW Recirculation System
• Direct Cooling Water supply – Direct Recirculation System
• Sludge Handling System – Sludge Handling and dewatering system potable Water System – Enhancement of Potable Water Pumping System
• Enhancement of Fire fighting Pumping System

Total Water Circulation 3600 l/hour
