Töginger Straße railway overpass, Mühldorf am Inn ABS 38 Munich - Mühldorf - Freilassing
Overall planning of the upgraded section between Mühldorf and Tüßling (total length 7 km), with a large number of constraints. The railway overpass over Töginger Straße was part of this overall measure.
The Altmühldorf - Tüßling section was widened to two tracks in order to increase capacity and raise the line speed to 160 km/h. The single-track section Altmühldorf - Tüßling is a central component of the upgraded line ABS 38 Munich - Mühldorf - Freilassing.
The single-track railway overpass over Töginger Straße had to be renewed due to the changes requested by the road authorities and the arrangement of the second track. Extensive changes to the road facilities were also necessary.
A total of six new retaining structures were required as a result of the changes in the road area.
