Airport Budapest "Ferihegy" (BUD): Environmental Due Diligence
Within the framework of the privatisation of the Budapest international airport there is a need for an assessment of environmental risks related to soil, groundwater, buildings and facilities.
DORSCH CONSULT Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH has been contracted by FRAPORT AG and DEUTSCHE BANK AG to perform services as environmental adviser within the scope of the privatisation tendering procedure.
A site visit environmental inspection of buildings and facilities was performed.
The findings gathered during the site visit inspection were complemented by interviews and an evaluation of documents on environmental investigations and assessments of the airport territory.
A report on the Budapest airport environmental status including a preliminary cost estimate was provided.
The environmental assessment and the cost estimate were based on the evaluated findings and information regarding current Hungarian environmental requirements.
